BRAIN TUMOR DETECTION SYSTEM
Brain tumor at early stage is very difficult task for doctors to identify. MRI images are more prone to noise and other environmental interference. So it becomes difficult for doctors to identify tumor and their causes. So here we come up with the system, where system will detect brain tumor from images. Here we convert image into grayscale image to classify the images into normal and abnormal image. In abnormal image we will clarify the abnormal part of brain which has tumor. In order to make the processing easy and efficient powerful hardware devices hard disk and instruments will be utilized , powerful Graphic Processing Unit card (GPU) will be utilized. The developed system will be tested on real images obtained from authentic and authorized sources
In this Project, we will be implemented an automated system for brain tumor detection Tumor segmentation from MRI data, it is an important but time-consuming and difficult task often performed manually by medical experts. Radiologists and other medical experts spend a substantial amount of time segmenting medical images. However, accurately labelling brain tumor is a very time-consuming task, and considerable variation is observed between doctors. After acquisition MRI images we have to focus on tumor only for that we need to extract the exact brain tissues for that we have performed the skull removing process in that we have used the horizontal, diagonal, anti-diagonal and vertical masks to perform the erosion and dilation which is results in to the skull masked image which further proceed to segmentation.
The Brain tumour detection decision support system assists and helps doctors in making the best, most accurate, and quickest decisions possible while also reducing total treatment costs. By predicting strokes at an early stage, the suggested technique lowers treatment costs and improves quality of life
