Blood banks collect, store, and provide blood. Typically, these banks collect blood from voluntary blood donors. The banks then sort blood by type, check blood to make sure it is free of disease and then store it for future use. The main mission of a blood bank is to provide life-saving blood to hospitals and other health care facilities.Thalassemia is a blood disorder passed down through families (inherited) in which the body makes an abnormal form or inadequate amount of hemoglobin. The mutations associated with thalassemia are passed from parents to children. The blood disorder beta thalassemia can bring complications that include things like bone damage, heart problems, and slow growth in children. Treatment can help you or your child avoid many of these problems. There are various issues that patients may face while seeking treatment. The most common is the lack of availability of blood. Often, patients are not able to find donors at blood transfusion centers and they must undergo a great deal of trouble to get one. JSF was set up with a clear vision and defined goals to fight thalassemia as National Cause. Besides its primary role of dealing with treatment, JSF is fully committed to deal with the core issue of awareness and prevention of disease at the National level with the help of all stakeholders to protect our forthcoming generations in Pakistan.

7. The System provides data for blood cross matching against the blood requests from the patient management system.
8. The system will provide data for blood cross matching against the blood requests from the patient monitoring system.
9. The System keeps the record of blood final screening with results of tests that are done on the donor’s blood.
10. The system will manage reports of donors.
11. To develop a mechanism to blood donors for notification after every 3 months for blood donation if they want it.
