Blockchain-Based Verification of Academic Credentials
This system will provide a plateform for verfication of academic credentials which is a tiresome job. It will provide users an authentic plateform to verify and authenticate themselves anywhere in the world. They will signup at this plateform and enter the required data, the system will verify his credentials with the relevant education council or company and generate a certificate which can be used by any educational institute or a company to identiify fake certificates or degree.
Our project's goal is to create a blockchain-based digital certificate verification system that preserves a tamper-proof and immutable academic record. The solution keeps the document's integrity and checks it directly, resulting in digital asset security. An individual or organization can directly access this public record or the students' certification without any forgery or damage to the original document.
In order to verify the credentials, we will make use of blockchain technology, digitial signatures, certfication authority (CA). They will help to generate and verify data in blocks and create a blockchain. For storing the blockchain transactions, we will use external SSD. Rasberry Pie to connect smart device, laptop, external SSD and any other IoT devices. A combination of all mentioned above will speed up communication with the end user.
