Pregnancy Tests in Sheep using IoT-based Sensors
The aim of this project is to timely inform shepherds about early sheep pregnancy and to take safety precautions before critical time period.In this way, he will be able to maintain the health of animals and it will increase their growth and health. On the basis of this information we can maintain their diet plan. Furthermore, we can also detect their pregnancy at early stage and come to know about the pregnancy from which we can have more time for their recovery. Without this improvement, we cannot know about the animal's child and pregnancy in the possible recovery time, there are many situations shepherd came to know about their issues at very critical stage from which we cannot turn back. Due to this late time duration he faces the death of animals as a consequence.
Following are the main objectives of the project
The proposed solution will be implemented via sensors based value of urine test from which we’ll receive progesterone level detection of animal. From that value we’ll check if the level of progesterone is high or low. After doing so, on the basis of progesterone level, the system will give a precise decision about pregnancy. In due time, we’ll do testing on animals and improve the readings we’ll receive from sensors and will describe the ratio about how much precise and accurate results are given.

When we made this device then it helps a lot to dairy farm’s stakeholders like they do not need doctor in their farm everytime to check pregnancy status of sheep.It saves end user time and sheep health.The sensors used in our device give the precise decision of pregnancy if it is positive or negative of sheep to let know end user of dairy farms.
