Traditionally, Data are stored, retrieved and processed using centralized database systems which are prone to hacking and physical damages. In addition, most of the government and private organizations have adopted database systems and still they are facing the problems of forgery and counterfeiting. Due to the lack of verification mechanism in the current database technologies, these problems need to be addressed with verification and transparency based solution. Blockchain technology has been successfully used for the last one decade in the implementaion of crypto currencies; its application in other areas such as assets and supply chan management are also very promising. Blockcahin technology incorporates the strong cryptographic mechanism of validation and verification in the implementation of its distributed ledger to ensure that fraudulent transactions never occur in the Textile products.
Project Objectives
The aim of this project is to develop Blockchain application for securing and verifying data on Textile Proeucts Blockchain netwrok. The following specific objectives are set for the completion of this project.
- Setting up a physical Blockchain network
- Preparation of Requirement Specification Document
- Designing of the chaincode
- Development of the chaincode
- Deployment of the cahincode on the Blockchainnetwork
- Testing of the chaincode
- Development of the web-interfaces
- Testing the complete application
- Final Applicatin deployment.
Project Implementation Method
There are a variety of Blockchain frameworks which can be used to develop public and private Blockchain applications. In this project, we will use Hyperledger Fabric Platform which is based on Hyperledger project introduced by Linux foundation to develop the Blockcahin application. This platform offers a modular architecture allowing components, such as consensus and membership services and it also leverages container technology to host smart contract called chaincode that comprised of the application logic of the system.

The customer in the market using the Blockchain application. the customer will verify the textile products.
counterfieting of the textile products will gradually be reduced in the society.
hacking of teh transaction on blockchain network will be almost impossible.
Technical Details of Final Deliverable
This project will be developed in Hyperledger composer which supports different types of languages for example go, java, python etc. All the development of this project will be done on java IDE.
