Project Summary

In Pakistan, there are many Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) working for the welfare of human beings on a small and large scale. Each NGO works for different purposes such as free education, free food, health and care, and so on. Generally, their focus is on giving aid. However, there are two major challenges faced by these NGOs. One of them is lack of funding, and another is absence of networking. Firstly, the issue of fundraising arises for those NGOs who work on small scales or have taken a new startup. So, not many people get to know about them, which is why they don't get much funding. Besides, some NGOs get more funds than the other, there is no track of the amount of donation a particular NGO receives. Secondly, there is a lack of networking among NGOs as well as people who want to donate. If multiple NGOs will be connected to each other, they will be able to work in a better and more efficient way. In addition to this, the more people know about them, the more these NGOs will be open for fundraising. Therefore, BlessigBox has come up with a solution of connecting multiple NGOs across Pakistan on one platform. Our idea is to provide both web and mobile applications to donors as well as to various NGOs for donating and receiving funds respectively. Donors will be able to check all the available charity organizations across the country and check how much donation each NGO has received through our system. Besides, NGOs will also post the records of their spendings for getting the donors' trust. Similarly, the NGO will be able to represent what it’s doing, what it has done so far, and how much funding it requires. Hopefully, both donor and receiver would benefit from this platform.

Project Objectives

According to our research and knowledge, there is no efficient development for the deployment of end-to-end systems or web-based applications for NGOs where all NGOs come up on one platform. To overcome this gap, a web-based and android application will be developed. It is a social service platform that invites multiple Pakistani Non-government Organizations (NGOs) on a single page to serve the country in a much better and efficient way. In the context of the above statements, the main objective of this project is summarized below:

• To develop a system that could keep track of how much amount a particular NGO has received through it.
• To develop a system where donor could donate to that NGO that has received lesser funds
• To bring forward smaller and startup NGOs that are unknown to the world or have lesser reach
• Building donor’s trust by showing him/her expenditure reports
• To spread awareness among people for NGOs because all NGOs are together on one platform.

Project Implementation Method

We follow Agile methodology. we discuss our project with our supervisor every week and show him the progress.

Benefits of the Project

• Startup NGOs can get the online presence and do not need to put indvidual efforts on networking. 
• Donor can keep track of the donation amount an NGO has received by way of a progress bar.
• NGOs can show donors if they reached the target amount or not.
• It will help in proper distribution of donation amount since donor can track which NGO has received lesser funds. So, they can donate to that NGO. And help them serve the nation.
• It can help NAB to keep track of the budget a particular NGO is receiving and perform proper investigation. If they are properly spending the funds or not.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Our Project will be available in Mobile and Web Application. Our mobile application is cross-platform. It will be available in both android and iOS devices.
