The involvement of drones can be noticed in almost every field from military to civil applications including aerial photography, shipping & delivery of products, geographic mapping, weather forecast, wildlife monitoring, precision agriculture, entertainment, law enforcement, and many more. That is largely due to their features, such as high mobility, 3D movement, etc. make them a suitable choice in every field. Therefore, using the same theme, we proposed and designed a project named "Billboard Drone" that can be used to control & monitor traffic situations and in different events for displaying the announcements in crowded places. The drone will be equipped with a billboard encircled by a 24? by 12? (P10 LED display screen), which gets its power from the separate battery attached behind.
The Billboard shall be moveable to 360° by the use of a rotatory motor. The LED screen display can be seen in total darkness or bright sunshine from distances of 5m to 50m. Arduino UNO-1 will be used as a microcontroller of the billboard. Through phone, we can give text or anything (which we want to show on a billboard to our audience) to Arduino via Wi-Fi module. After receiving the data, Arduino will convey the data to Billboard in digital format. We will also have a voice option for announcements.

Our aim is to develop a real-time, compact and cost-effective drone that will be capable of search and rescue operations. Our Project is divided into two phases first phase is the modeling of the quadcopter while the second phase involved system implementation and testing.
The basic components used for the quadcopter design were Nirvaino Multi-rotor Flight Control Board, brushless motors, Electronic Speed Controllers (ESCs), SkyZone FPV Wireless Receiver, LiPoly Cell Battery, Mobius Camera, and 4mm Heat Shrink Tube. The design takes cognizance of the structure model, and hovering stability of the quadcopter. The frame of the quadcopter will be made up of very light glass fiber to ensure stability while flying and also to reduce weight of the overall material. The entire design generated a compact and low cost surveillance quadcopter with weight of approximately 1.50kg; which can take photographs & provide surveillance from environments with the aid of the onboard mounted camera.
When the drone will be ready, we will work on the Billboard. We will first integrate the billboard with arduino & then the wifi module would be integrated with arduino. This will helps us to show the messages on billboard. The camera that is already mounted on the drone also needs to be integrated with arduino. Once all the components will be integrated and ready then we will move towards the testing of our prototype.
This project shall be very beneficial in many situations like traffic jams, Announcements to public outside their homes. In advertising it will play a latest and important role. Also it will be very beneficial for announcements of opportunities on road like job opportunities, property sales and many more. It can also be used in concerts or events.
This project can be used by CDA to announce and monitor an upcoming or ongoing event. Project can also be used by Traffic police to control & monitor traffic signals and traffic jam situations, traffic police can also use this project to announce about the routes applied to certain areas. Our security departments can use this project for surveillance & monitoring purposes. This project can also be used in crowded areas to monitor the situation & act according to the situation.
COVID-19 RELEAVENT BENEFITS:
This project shall be very beneficial in COVID-19 situation as we can see that in our country people usually ignore and forget about the dangers and threats of COVID-19in public places and do not follow SOPs and are getting continuously infected. So this project would be very beneficial in situation like this, the drone would notify and announce the warnings at public places.
The drone shall be run via GPS. All we need to do is to set the GPS location on drone and then the drone will fly over there and starts to display the messages to public related to traffic situation, event management and COVID-19 situation etc.
When our drone arrives to the destination and we sends the message from our "Application". From the application the command will be send to Arduino via wifi module then the arduino will send the output to the Billboard screen which shall display the message that we wants to show.
If we want the camera to display the live show on billboard then we just have to select the "camera display" option on the application which will send the command to the arduino which will then gets the data from the camera mounted on drone & provides the output to the billboard which will show the live recording on the screen.
We can remotely tilt or move the billboard screen & camera by using the "screen adjustment & camera adjustment" option in our application. which will rotate the camera & screen according to our demand.
The speaker will act according to the command provided. If we want to announce via voice then only speaker will work. We just have to choose "speak live" option from our application & then we have to speak.
