Project Area of Specialization Computer ScienceProject Summary.Keeping track of Consumption of electricity is one of the major issues, we do not monitor
the consumption of units throughout the day and we leisurely use electricity which causes
huge bills and it comes as a shock to us. There is also the issue of transparency which is
one of the biggest problems in Pakistan in every sector. So, we came up with an idea which
can be very useful and be the solution for several problems. We will be using a machine
learning approach, in which we will train our model for predictability and an application
will be designed as an interface for users to use it, where predicted amount of bill will be
shared with the user and hourly, daily, weekly and monthly consumption of electricity will
also be monitored by the user. There will be a controlled usage of electricity, electricity
bills can be minimized as per requirements which will also be beneficial for the user, other
users and environment.
.The objective of this project is to keep track of consumption of electricity and predict the
usage at the end of the month to achieve transparency and help the consumers control
their consumption. Our long term objective is to serve the goal of a green environment.
.Our system is based on our research on which users can know a predicted amount of bill and the consumption of units on hourly, daily and monthly basis, based on the data collected from surveys and data generated from extension source. It will introduce a controlled electricity consumption concept. Users will not have to get the reading from the meter and calculate the bill. Our research is to see if we can predict the consumption and cost of its usage from previous records and consumption from users. Users can see their hourly, daily and monthly consumption of units textually and graphically, and foresee an amount he could be charged for his consumption on Application. There will be an IOT device connected to the Extension Board using ESP 32 and PZEM to get consumption and store in the database for further procedures.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable.There will be an IOT device installed to an extensio board to get real time consumption of data. An appliaction will developed where user can watch their consumption and see the predicted amount and units as per their usage. There will be many other functionalities among themas well.
