Autonomous solar system cleaner with advanced machine learning techniques will provide the users to the feasible and easy way to clean the dirty panels. Which effects the efficiency of panels in production of electricity and desired output.
Our autonomous system will detect the solar irradiance and the dust after that it will trigger automatically for the cleaning purpose. Our system will detect the gaps between the panels where gap occurs it will stop and will jump tou the panel automatically.
The system exist now a days re only designed to be implemented on a solar farm or someplace where solar panels are installed on the land. Even in the resident area solar system are installed on the roof floor with L2 & L3 structure staking two and three panels respectively. Very less system are designed to clean solar panels of the roof of 40 foot high building having 15 foot high structure having gaps and have to take wind pressure.
Existing systems include.
1. Solar cleaning ability
2. Automatically move from one panel to another
3. System that can measure the slope and power needed to move the cleaner
4. Automating turning on and off
The existing system have many things that can be implemented as it is in the proposed system because this system in a successor to the existing system capable to clean panels high above on roofs and is autonomous so that can react to these changes of environment and panels gaps Our aim and objective is to design a smart and automated solar panel cleaner that can do the following things
1. Clean panels and monitor its efficiency.
2. Easily navigate a path of cleaning so that it doesn’t fall through the gaps.(Autonomous)
3. Fully automatic system that doesn’t need any input by us after installation such as water tank refilling etc.
Starting Of cleaning.
In order to make our solar panel cleaner we have to take many precautions for triggering the process The most suitable process is to measure the irradiance of solar panel and compare that to the respective power generated by the solar panel if the respective power is less than usual solar cleaner starts cleaning. A temperature sensor is also installed because the power varies in different temperature hence to stop from false triggering, our system will monitor the temperature and power also. Irradiance sensor is also used to measure Irradiance of the system and then compared to the respective power of panel if panel is dirty the irradiance will not meet the output power hence the system will start cleaning.
Axes of movement
The cleaner module will move in two axes X and Y
Control and autonomous
There will be four IR sensors that will give data to Arduino/ Rasbary pie and it will command the motor and the brushes to rotate and move accordingly.
Gear Motors
Gear motors are used to drive the system on rolling and move the cleaner up and down the solar panel
Brush
A brush is used to weep all the dust off the solar panel.
Our independent framework will identify the sun based irradiance and after that it'll trigger consequently for the cleaning reason. Our framework will identify the gaps between the panels
Solar panel when becomes dirty with the excessive amount of dust it directly effects the generation of power plant to nullify the problem we are developing a machine learning based robotic system
Different system usen transport for bringing water and other costly procedures but no enviromental or hygenic enviroment
There have been many systems developed before but the latest researvh and technology to be introduced is machine learning which will automaticaly deside best time to triger starting and cleaning tha solar modules in a proper way.
