Project Area of Specialization Artificial IntelligenceProject SummaryWe are designing “Automatic Temperature and Mask Scanning Disinfection System for Covid-19”. In this project we are going to make a system that will scan the person at the entry of any crowded place where we want to make sure the proper implementation of SOPs. There will be a camera at the entry point that will determine whether the person having mask or not on his face based on that image the computer will allow the person if he/she wearing mask and allow to enter the place if the person has no mask the computer will show the message to wear the mask also there will be a temperature sensor to determine to normal human body temperature. When both conditions are satisfied the barrier at the gate will allow the person to go inside. Now we have installed a disinfection box inside the place in which the people will put there mobiles, wallets, keys etc. and the box will disinfect that object.
Project ObjectivesThe objectives of the project are:
- Objective #1: Image processing and machine learning for mask detection.
- Objective # 2: Temperature detection.
- Objective # 4: Automatic Barrier entry.
- Objective # 3: Automatic hand sanitization.
- Objective # 5: Disinfection box.
- Image processing and machine learning for mask detection.
In this part we will implement machine learning algorithm to detect the mask on the face with the help of tensor flow and OpenCv.
- Temperature detection.
The sensor will measure the body temperature if the temperature is greater than 37 degree Celsius of less, the barrier will not open and the system will suggest for medication and if the temperature is normal (37C) the barrier will open.
- Automatic hand sanitization.
It will sanitize the hands without human touch. There are some motors connected with Arduino that will get command through the raspberry pi.
- Disinfection box.
In this box there are UV-light which is very effective to kill the germs.
