Automated Doctor Machine - An innovative IOT Approach towards providing rural Pakistan with Medical support. It is machine which will check the vital signs of patient
e.g temperature, heartbeat , height , weight etc and arrange a video call with the doctor and doctor will be
able to see these vital signs and based on these vital signs doctor will provide the prescription to the patient/ill person.
This product will provide medical assistance and diagnosis support to rural and villages of Pakistan (even other countries).It will revolutionized the medical field and help doctors as well as patient living far away to communicate and help each other.
The project that we are working on is helping the medical field to grow. As it help reach the rural areas where people are not able to do proper check up and contact doctor when
they feel ill or in case of emergency. Machines could gradually come to replace doctors,usurping their technical and surgical know-how. However, this could be good news for the patient. Doctors would be more available to counsel and reassure their patients. In this way, machines deployed in the medical field could actually help to bring more of a
human touch to the doctor-patient relationship.
All the sensors required for patients check up will be connected with Arduino.The sensors Include Temperature Sensors, Heart Beat Sensor, Height Sensor and Weight Machine,then the Arduino which is connected to these sensors will measure the readings and then it will be stored in Raspberry Pi.The Raspberry Pi will control the arduino and these sensors through USB Port. A Person controlling Raspberry Pi will be able to get data from these sensors and place sensors on the patient as well.Then the data from these sensors will be stored in Database.For database we are using OpenMRS where each patient records will be kept.For video call we will be using Jitsi Meet on Raspberry Pi.These sensors and database as a whole is called Automated Doctor Machine.
About 80% of Pakistani population lives in Rural areas. Most of the developments are not yet reached rural Pakistan and most importantly in Healthcare, it lacks good Hospitals
and sometimes they even dont have a dispensary. Even when there are hospitals, rural people lose good Doctors. And we know that rural people are more affected by new
disease every year. Sometimes there is no Doctor in those Hospitals and also lacks shortage of Doctors in the Hospital. To compensate all these problems and to provide a
good health care even in rural villages we introduce an Automated Doctor Machine.
This machine will be placed in rural areas where people could come and perform health check-up without the presence of doctor at that location.
The sensors attached to Arduino for patients check up include
1) Height Measurement:
To build the height measuring machine, the ultrasonic sensor will need to be place up high with the sensor facing
down. We make sure that nothing is blocking the sensor from the floor, and calibrate the sensor by pressing a
button.

2) Weight Measurement:
For weight measurement we will be using load cell of 150 kg along with HX711 Load Cell Amplifier to measure weight.Hardware of Weight Machine will also be made to ensure a person can stand on it easily.

Pulse Oximeter and Heart-Rate Sensor IC will be used for measuring heart beat of patient.
5) Temperature Sensor:
DS18B20 is a 1 Meter Long Waterproof, sealed and pre-wired digital temperature sensor probe based on the
DS18B20 sensor. It is very handy for when you need to measure something far away, or in wet conditions.
6) Arduino & Raspberry Pi
Arduino we directly connected with sensors and then this Arduino will be connected to Raspberry Pi which will be later used for Video Calling & Database record keeping.
7) LCD Screen,Keyboard and Mouse
These devices will come handy while video calling and entering data of patient in database.
