This paper presents a development of a Home Security with Laser Lights Alarm that interfaces with Android Mobile Application. This system is designed to improve the security of a large space area like the factory from the robbery. A new development system using Internet of Things (IoT) controller which interface with Android Mobile users which comprised on design system, hardware and sensors connections with programmed coding. Laser beam module and passive infrared (PIR) sensor are installed at a selected area to be protected to detect the intruder. Alerts lights are installed in a selected area. Lights are ON followed by alert's area when the laser is crossed out by intruders. Buzzer installed will also be trigged on alert. LED lights are used to save energy consumed by lights. The alert message is sent out to mobile users. Reminder features of security activated set are also designed on the mobile apps. A large area security system is beneficial by implementing this system's concept of lights alert built that interfaces with the mobile.?
Project ObjectivesA laser security alarm is a system designed to detect intrusion , unauthorized entry into a building or area. They are also called security alarms, security systems, alarm systems, intrusion detection systems, perimeter detection systems, and similar terms.
Project Implementation MethodAn implementation of an Internet home automation system has been designed based on an embedded controller which is connected to an Android Mobile application. The software of the system is based on the combination of C, Java and Arduino C. The system is scalable and allows additional appliances to be added to it with no major changes to its core, the system can be monitored and controlled locally, or remotely through a mobile application from anywhere in the world provided that Internet access is available. In term of security matter, home or factory security system should provide security features by alarming the residents from threats such as Theft, intruders, and animals invading.
Benefits of the Project
The proposed method is applied to a novel system to monitor the entrance area and to filter out the trespasser who enters the door without identification. Experiments for various cases are performed to verify the usefulness of the developed prototype system. Unfortunately, due to its high cost on the installation of the system makes it does not popular in the rural area residents. In term of security, the least expensive large area automation security system is the most effective. Lights affected burglar identity where the detail of their physical movement of faces can be seen clearly. Thus, most of the criminals dislike the existence of light. Those situations can cause disturbance and make the criminals feels unsafe leads them to deny the will to do the crime or maybe they go to the next target
