The home security and especially the automatic security of home is the basic necessity and concern in our daily life. Such security includes security from theft, intrusion, smoke detection, fire causing elements and many more home appliance related security. The basic home security systems have been proved ineffective and not secure enough due to delay in alert and response time.

Our proposed system will assure the effective home security using multiple detectors and sensors to ensure the timely response to any situation using mobile quick response. This system uses motion detector and PIR sensor to detect any motion such as force intrusion and then alert the user using sms and will also be displayed on the home screen. In case of any home emergency like fire, the system will alert the user as well as the respective emergency authorities for a timely action. The same procedure is followed by smoke detector as well. This system will effectively improve the overall home security as well as automation of home appliances using existing technology. Using such precautious measures and detection techniques will greatly benefit the home owner and the home security overall.

The system will presents us the way to secure our home and business premises in the advance age of technology and development and will cope with the current security threats accordingly.

Project Objectives
  1. To provide better security with low cost and ease of use for the user of any kind and any field.
  2.  To provide emergency alerts via the most easily accessible methods such as sms so to avoid unnecessary delay in any situation.
  3. To effectively increase the home security with time.
  4. To provide timely alerts to the user regarding any emergency so as to act as quickly as possible to avoid delay in response time.
  5. To flawlessly connect all the automated home appliances so as to the concept of one home all connected and controlled easily by the owner.
Project Implementation Method
  1. This System will be implemented by using Microcontroller(Arduino) and microprocessor(Raspberry pi) with multiple sensors like PIR(Passive Infrared sensor) for detection, HC-SR501 sensor for human detection, Smoke detector, Gas Leak detector, raspberry pi CC Camera for Surveillance and Security.
  2. All these sensors will be activated by programming the controller (Arduino) and processor (Raspberry pi) using C Language and Python (in Turbo C and Pycharm).
  3. Once detection occurs the user will be alerted by SMS using GSM module. Then the user will control, assess the situation according to the emergency nature using smartphone.
  4. When the motion sensor is activated due to motion detection, the sensor will send alert notification to Arduino which intern will send alert to the user and also the camera view will be displayed on a LED screen placed inside home from where the situation will be assessed. The counter-measure of the intrusion detection will be to inform the nearest police station in case of theft or force entry or abnormal activities.
  5. When the smoke detector is activated due to smoke detection in the premise, the sensor will send notification to the Arduino which will send alert to the nearest fire brigade station via sms as well as to the user and the smoke alert will be displayed on the screen inside the home and the counter-measure is to shut off the gas and electricity from the main valve and grid.
  6. This will also be controlled, monitored from within home using System Control Panel Screen (preferably about 32 inch LED Screen).
  7. This system will be used in homes, offices, warehouses and different Institutes and will have updates for the future.

4) The system will help automate the entire home controlled by owner from the mobile.

5) The development and successful Implementation of the said System will enable it to be used in almost every environment where there is a security concern of any type.
