transportation routes. However, the synchronization of multiple traffic light systems at adjacent intersections is a complicated problem given the various parameters involved. Conventional
systems do not handle so much appropriate way so there should be berries to handle the traffic so that people not violet the rules . In addition, the mutual interference between adjacent traffic light systems. This leads to traffic jam and congestion. We propose a system based on PIC microcontroller or Arduino, servo motors. .The design is simulated, synthesized and power estimation was done using Arduino IDE 1.8.9 or Xilinx 14.3.

- We implement that advanced system on the basic of current traffic control system with advanced technology this system also help the traffic police to reduce the employee.
- First of all we will use an Arduino to control the signal lights, barricades and timer.
- Lights are controlled using LDR.
- Barricades are connected through servo motor.
- Servo motor are connected through Arduino and also controlled by Arduino.
Disadvantage of Current Traffic system
Let us see disadvantage of current traffic system in Pakistan now vehicles will cross the zebra crossing line while standing in traffic lights these automatically increase the traffic outside the barricade and simultaneously pedestrians crossing the zebra crossing line also face a lots of problems due to this type of activities.
Benefits of Advanced Traffic Control system
To solve problems in current traffic system in Pakistan we made Advanced traffic control system using advanced technology to improve previous traffic system to overcome this disadvantages we have place the automatic barricades so that no vehicle can violet the rules. So that the traffic regulate easily without any problem.
Everyone will follow the rules because of barricades.
Technical Details of Final Deliverable- Transformer for power circuits and power supply which is used for power up to microcontroller and subsystem.
- Arduino Microcontroller (ATmega2560):for programing the street lights also used for control the servo motor that is used for controlling of barricades.
- LDR: light dependent resistor so in this LDR it is used for controlling the automatic streetlight controlling
- 7Segments:for used to display time for how much vehicle wait for their turn
- LEDs: for signaling purpose.
- Servo Motors: servo motors will be used for automatic controlling of barricades so the major thing which we are using in this project is automatic barricades.
- Pic microcontroller: what we are doing is we are writing each and every program so we have four direction in that four direction we need to control the traffic lights means if one direction is green the other direction should be red.
- Jumper Wires: for connection between two components or connect particular component with Arduino.
