The summary of this project is to introducing new technology in agriculture system which will help the farmers in different aspect. There are many factors which affect the irrigation system and farmer became unaware for different climatic changes. There are many challenges which farmer’s faces. They don’t know about the proper management of crops and plant. There are two main issues in agriculture system, over irrigation and under irrigation. This both issue is not good for agriculture system. so by keeping in mind the above issue it is important to implement technology in agriculture which will help the farmer and maintain the water requirement for crops and plants and increase the productivity. This project consist consists of different sensors like temperature sensor, water level sensor, soil moisture sensor and rain sensor. Also there is a Microcontroller and Wifi Module. The Microcontroller will get the data from the sensor and control the components as per programming. Wifi module is used for wireless communication between the system and user. Mobile application is used to interference the system with user. The user can control the system from anywhere in the world. All the data will be display on LCD module and on user Mobile. When there will be shortage of water the soil moisture sensor send data to the microcontroller and motor will on. When the water level will be increase from a certain value which we have set by programming the soil moisture sensor again will send data to the Microcontroller and the motor will be off. Rain sensor is used to save the crops from over irrigation at rainy days.

Project Objectives

The main purpose to design this project are described below

To increase the productivity of crops and plants.

To alert the farmers from different climatic changes.

To get the information about the plants and crops at anytime and anywhere.

To implement new technology in irrigation system.

To increase the agriculture business in entire world.

To enhance the communication between the farmer and consumer.

To control the thing by wireless communication from anywhere of the world To save time, energy, fertilizer and water.

To reduce the cost of labor.

To connect a system with android mobile. 

Project Implementation Method

 The internet of thing is actually a pretty thing.it means taking all the thing from the world and connecting them with the internet. Our project consist of different sensors  they are responsible to collect data and send data to the processor which is responsible to control the other components. Mobile application is used to monitor the system through the mobile. All the data send by the system will be display on the user mobile and in LCD display. We implemented this project on a sample of field. We took two containers which were filled of water and soil. Putted the props of sensors in the dry soil and stated the project. As the soil was dry so the sensor detected it and the motor stated supplying water to the field. When the soil got wet the motor stopped automatically. The whole process is displayed on mobile app and LCD Module. We can also control and monitor the project by mobile application. 

Benefits of the Project

There are many benefits of IoT in agriculture some of them are described below:Wealth creation and distribution will be more easy and effective by implementing IoT in agriculture. The farmer can direct access to consumer without any interface of third person leading to higher profit.It will automatically check the parameters such as temperature, soil moisture and air humidity and send report to the user to aware them from the environmental changes so that they can fulfill the requirement at the exact time and can save the crops and plants from being damaged..IoT in agriculture decreases the wastage of water, electricity and time and enhance productivity. The farmers can easily monitor the crops and plants anywhere in the world.IoT connect the farmers with different national and international agencies so that they became aware with a latest technology implementing in agriculture system.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

First of all we started on software side. We generated softwar for our project on multism. Then after we visited to market to bought the required equibments. After then we strarted to make hardware and completed it. Our project worked smootly at the initial stage.
