Without mobility, millions of disable people in developing world are being left behind. But the right wheelchair can ease a life.

Most can’t afford expensive wheelchairs but when it come to mobility we are trying to  provide a fairer chance where everyone has a freedom to ease the life as they choose.

This turns your wheelchair into a electric handcycle. It's a bicycle for your hands and it can be attached to most wheelchairs.

The large front tire handles obstacles better than any caster wheel.

This electric wheelchairs provides a relatively low-cost solution to the mobility needs of such individuals.

Frame removes easily without tools for transportation in car, plane, or for storage.


 

Project Objectives

This fitting has a universal design which could easily attached to most of wheelchairs.

This could be fit and separate easily.

It is equipped with disc brakes.

It has a electrically drive mechanism with 1000 watt hub motor which allows user to drive through slops and jumps.

It has a headlight and SOS system (in case of emergency).

Its controller is base on n-type, which is more efficient.  

 

Project Implementation Method

    Step 1: Assume that the system of electric 
wheelchair is completed; we then start to press the 
power switch on. There was a choice of motor 
controller by controlling pulse signal out of 
microcontroller to power and speed up/down the 
motor rotation.
? Step 2: Press accelerator, forward switch, and 
backward switch are the choices in controlling 
motor rotation.
? Step 3: one of the choices in step 2 has been 
selected, and then microcontroller generates the 
pulse signal for input of  circuit to drive 
the motor. Wheelchair is operated and kept 
running, in this state, the user have to control the 
driving direction of electric wheelchair.

The output we hope to produce is a electric assist scotty wheelchair from any ordinary wheelchair.

This electric wheelchair would be able to carry weight of 110kg – 130kg.

And our product would be cost effective.
