Project Title
Voice Recognition For Mailing App
Project Area of Specialization
Project Summary
This is an android application helps visually imapaired with the facility of voice based email. This application also include features of Graphical User Interface for Deaf And Dumb people for example if deaf and dumb people want to drink water, they will have to click on glass button/Image and the system willl speak out.
Project Objectives
- Make voice-based Signs/Buttons/Images.
- Make standard GUI of application.
- Integrate third party voice-recognition API.
- Make Database to store all the related information
- Use SQLITE to access the data from database.
Project Implementation Method
Rapid Application Development or RAD is an agile project management strategy which is quite popular in the case of software development or application development. It is a type of incremental model. In RAD model the components or functions are developed in parallel as if they were mini projects. The developments are time boxed, delivered and then assembled into a working prototype. This can quickly give the customer something to see and use and to provide feedback regarding the delivery and their requirement
Benefits of the Project
The major advantage of this approach is the faster project turnaround that makes it a much more attractive choice for the app developers that work in a fast-paced environment like app development. This rapid pace is quite possible by a focus on minimizing the entire planning stage as well as maximizing the prototype development in RAD.
