Project Area of Specialization Augmented and Virtual RealityProject SummaryThis augmented reality app will bring Old Science book diagrams in your mobile as a 3d real world objects. By enhancing the real time reality, these 3d object will be like a part of real world. This app will help people to learn about the diagram, topic more efficiently as they will experience the 2-d diagrams in real world. This app will scan the object through Augmented Reality camera (AR camera) and show the moving or static 3d model of that object instead of the real-world objects. When our app will detect a specific image target of the book than a 3d model of that target will be shown real time instead of the target itself by enhancing the reality through augmented reality. This app will overlay information and virtual objects on real-world Course books in real time. It will use the existing old course books and adds information to it to make a new interesting and interactable way of learning. This app will allow the user to see the real world, augmenting it with superimposed virtual objects (Models and information about the diagrams or concepts in the book).
Project ObjectivesTo introduce Visual Learning using augmented reality seems the best idea till now.
To use augmented Reality camera will see the extra layers on diagrams.
To use this application Life size 3D animated figure/model appear after visitors point the device
Project Implementation MethodVuforia Platform:
Vuforia Is a platform which is used to create Augmented Reality products with support of Tablets and Eye where. With this Platform People can easily add AR functionality. it is free of cost Engine. we are using this Platform for augmented support in our Project. Because our project is totally based on Augmented reality.it is used for detecting images, objects and interacting with the objects in space. Also use to create the Models for targets. Vuforia has its own database.
Visual Studio:
Visual studio platform is used for developing applications and websites. we are using Visual studio for Backend Developing of our Project. Also using for Backend scripting. By using this Platform, we are following C# language for backend scripting and we are providing language for specific purpose.
Unity:
This Platform develop applications the deploy it on augmented reality devices. its unique features are Photorealistic rendering and device optimization. It pushes us to focus on our boundaries of imagination. With use of this platform we create applications that moves us towards imagination to reality.
Benefits of the ProjectUsers to see an extra layer of digital content on top of real-world scenarios. working with this technology to give students a richer view and understanding of their course, and details of diagrams on display. User will get more information when they view diagrams using Augmented reality. When exciting facts are displayed with augmented camera, users become more connected and thus more interested in learning. Real world alluring the new generation to actively participate in the learning process. Pictures and diagrams on the wall and lying on the table or books become alive using AR.
