Project Summary
Pakistan lags far behind in science and technology. Although we are using technology in many fields to some extent. But when it comes to fashion industry,it lacks in technology. Fashion industry plays an important role in economy of a country. Our country is not paying attention to this. In our project we tried our best to use technology in Fashion Industry. We tried to design a fashion mirror which uses Augmented Reality. The buyer has to stand on a fixed platform.A camera will give the video of the person standing on the platform. From those video frames we detected the gender, height and age of the person. Different dress pictures were saved in database.Those dress pictures will be shown on the screen. The buyer standing in front of mirror selects a dress. The desired dress will be augmented on the person and it seems like the person is wearing that desired dress. Also our porject will tell users that which size is suitable for them.
Project Objectives
- Giving a secure method to try dresses because try rooms in our country are not secure anymore.
- Makng shopping more fun and easy
- No more Queue outside the try rooms
Project Implementation Method
Our implementation methodolog is based on following steps:
- Save different dresses for both male and female and also the dresses are different for people of different age groups.
- Detect either the person is human or not
- Detect the age and gender of person
- Augmenting the dresses on human
Benefits of the Project

Technical Details of Final Deliverable
Our final deliverable will be a digital screen, we called mirror, having different dresses pictures. When person stands in front of that mirror its age gender is detected by the camera embedded on the mirror. After selecting the dress it seems like the person is wearing that selected dress.
