Virtual Apparel Try Room is a SaaS(Software as a Service) based product which enables online shopping stores to help their customers get the perfect size when ordering apparel online by using our Artificial Intelligence based solution. Our service also provides a virtual try-room using Augmented Reality through which customers can experience the apparel mounted on him/her through augmented reality on any of their browser-based devices.

Project Objectives

To decrease the number of returns and build customers' trust in online apparel stores, we enable online apparel stores to deliver the right size of apparel on the first go. Our AI-based solution provides perfect Size Recommendations, Body Measurements and enables Virtual Try-On of the apparel via AR.

Project Implementation Method

Virtual Apparel Try Room uses Machine Learning for predicting the perfect size for the customer. It also provides multiple body measurements for example shoulders length, arm length, inseam, waist etc through our computer vision and machine learning solution.

Virtual Apparel Try Room uses a combination of computer vision and augmented reality to mount apparel on a customer's body.

Benefits of the Project

Online apparel shopping is not a fully satisfactory experience for people. Problems are clothing size and fit, and also how the apparel will look after trying it on. These problems result in countless returns and customer dissatisfaction. This project is being made to solve these problems, and construct a solution that can easily be incorporated into the online apparel shopping experience. Customers will then be satisfied before buying and their trust will increase in the experience. This will decrease order returns which cause
financial loss to customers and sellers both and causes mistrust in the process. Also after COVID19, trying on clothes is not allowed as
it increases the chances of virus spread, so this experience of virtual shopping will help in customer satisfaction and trust in apparel
shopping. Hence our project will have a significant in situations where surface touching is to be avoided.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The final deliverable will be a ready to be integrated Software which can be integrated into any online shopping store. The software will be a browser-based application which can run on any browser-based device.
