Project Summary

We created our opearting system which can run on Dell, HP and apples computer in which we representing platform independency. Operating systems are invented to reduce human effort and can save time. Our focus on Operating Systems (OS) relates to the computer machine currenlty most of people using every day, and our result of analysis shows there our operating system can run in any computer devices so there is no any processor build for specific Operating System. Microprocessor is designed to execute programs. The target was to expand user understanding of the variety of systems.

Project Objectives

Companies like Microsoft and Apple all of they provides Proprietary Software's so they can be used by obtaining a license and only runs it’s machines. Microsoft also provide a copied version of its proprietary software called pirated OS and pirated software result could be Computer components crashes, Fake Updates, Bugs.  Linux is Open Source Software It’s critical to choose the best version of Linux because they are 300+ Linux Versions. Open source Software is the lack of structure around adoption of its tools and companies used as a free and fail to realize that there is no support infrastructure available. Many of the latest hardware are incompatible with Open source software so you have to rely on third-party drivers if they are available otherwise companies contact to open source community for support and open source community charged for it.

Country like USA, Russia, Israel, India their government and military is not using this commercial operating system software and enterprise level softwares for its agencies and other departments for its confidential information they using its own software so they can protect it's country confidential information.But In our country Pakistan whether they military department and government organizations, Bank and Nadra office’s look around on it’s computer’s they are using pirated windows OS and we know that pirated software are not secured whether you use firewalls and anti virus software but still you find numbers of viruses.

The Project Objective of our project are given below

1) To make the computer system convenient to use in an efficient manner. OS act as an interface between the hardware and its users, making it easier for the users to access and use other resources. 

2) Our operating system can run in every computer system our software nature is platform independecy.

3) Our major objective is to provide our OS to our country Military departments and government organizations, Bank and Nadra office’s so our confidential information remains secure Most of this organization is using enterprise based level software from company Oracle which exists in USA and we can say that our country confidential information is not secure

Project Implementation Method

The implementation process has begin with some tools like assembler and compiler of GCC. we started program on assembly and C, C++ programming language. We developed boot loader and kernel program. If computer machine is turned on so it’s execute the firmware or mini operating system usually this program called BIOS which used for advertising purposes For example Dell, HP, Apple etc. basically it show the logo that this computer product belong to this organization and after that operating system get started which run few programs  and first program is boot loader or as simple as when computer machine is started so every components of hardware is stated on uncertain state and boot loader convert from uncertain state to something like certain state to make every component os hardware useable for kernel. After that kernel executed and every program runs efficiently for the user and user can easily interact with every computer components. In our kernel we developed a lot programs like memory management, processor scheduler, File system, I/O Manger, interrupt service routine handler, drivers for keyboard, mouse, display screen etc.

Benefits of the Project

Benefits of the project that organization can run our operating system in every computer system wheather they have apple, windows, HP, Dell computers and can program efficiently.We will provide further computer operating system software and our operating system would be secure, fast and working performance would be efficient and that can be used to make artificial intelligence systems softwares, embedded systems software, server machines software and could run on cloud systems to provide service to application developers and commercial companies for storing its data and also can integrate and implement with several new technologies with Artificial intelligence etc. Insallaha if we successed so we will developed mobile operating which run on every smart phones.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Operating system program that manages a computer's resources, especially the allocation of those resources among other programs. Typically resources include the central processing unit (CPU), computer memory, file storage, input/output (I/O) devices, and network connections etc. We will provide users a convenient interface to use the computer system. Our computer operating system software runs in every computer Dell, HP, Apple etc. OS would be secure, fast and working performance would be efficient.
