University Complain Management System
We will be developing a system which will handle all complaints that comes from every department. The faculty member or any other person using this system can complain about anything, e.g., electric issues, electronics devices issues, etc. The system will automatically forward complaints to the relevant technicians. The department can trace the application that the work on the complaint is being processed or not. The technician can check whether the required material is available in the store or not. If not, then the technician can request authorities to purchase material from the market. The request will be forwarded to the higher authorities if the material's total expense is greater than the already set threshold. All the progress will be shown in the system. After purchasing, the technician will solve the problem and generate a report of the total work done. The services department can also manage the records of the materials. The system will notify the services department if any important material is running short in-store. When any complaint is recorded, the system will inform the department through e-mail and SMS. The system will keep a record of every complaint and generate reports weekly or monthly.
The project's objective is to develop a complain management system for the university that will be used to create and manage all sorts of complaints. The technician will be able to see how much work is still pending for them. The authorities will be able to see how much expense particular equipment is causing to take action based on that, such as replacing that equipment complete with new equipment. They will also be able to see all the expenses in the form of reports from maintenance.
The project would be based on the incremental build model. The project will be divided into different phases, including requirement gathering use Cases and design, implementation, testing and deployment.
This project will be beneficial for the University faculty member, staff and authorities. Faculty member and staff can complain about anything using this system. the services department can trace the application using this system. The weekly or monthly report will be generated for the authorities.
The final deliverable will include a website and mobile applications for both iOS & Android.
