The aim of this project is to provide transport tracking system for children attending schools. Existing transportation systems are not powerful enough to ensure kids safety and lack necessary rules and regulations. Majority of such systems only provide vague pick and drop information and not about each kid they provide transportation. Moreover, there is no way of continuous tracking of children. In some vans they even switch drivers in mid ways and parents are totally unaware of the situation. Sometimes a different driver picks up children rather than the usual driver. Drivers can stop at any point for doing their own chores as well. Thus, these factors can allow definite loopholes for some predator to attack. Such factors result in parent’s low assurance about their child’s safety thereby identifying a gap for necessary means that can help ensuring children day to day safety.
Our proposed application includes four modules Booking, Alert Notification, Driver Profiling and Location Tracking. Moreover the app has two receiver modules: Parent and Driver module. Parents can track their child’s location using GPS. Driver can register himself/herself with the application and add package and route details. Our application has defined routes, if driver diverts from defined route then parents will immediately receive alert notifications.

Technical Details of Final DeliverableThe project involves having two trackers, one is connected with mobile app and other one is a hidden tracker in van. This required for tackling any loophole. Can benefit for any emergency. Tracker in van has API connected with app which locates location of the van properly. First of all this app will update driver profiling which collect all the data of driver and saved in application to show the parents and saved in backend. Live Location tracking of children by GPS, parents can locate their children while they are travelling in van.
Driver takes attendance of children in app at pick and drop times to maintain the system either child is absent or present to avoid from any mishap.
It gives last location of children by means of van i.e. where it stopped last time, current route through which the van is travelling and how much time it takes on its way to home or school.
Parent will give review about driver and van after concerning with their child.
The app also has parents profile where parents will add their home address properly and give details about their child school designation.
It generates alert notifications the driver will log when the van stops at any spot, if the van tire punchers or any technical issue generates in the van or if any incident occurs.
App will generate Red alert if the van will cross the area specified. We will use Geo fencing for checking any anomaly.
