A platform that will provide a workforce, man power, materials, labor, to the construction companies and builders that they will be able to select their desired workforce for their respective projects on the basis of ratings and biddings with the following persons, Contractors (Labor provider), construction/ civil engineers, architects, project supervisors. The builder or the client can easily get the approx. estimate of its project cost and time regarding construction workforce, manpower supply, material supply, vendors providing their services with market rates along with current tax rates. Materials used during construction will be displayed by different vendors to provide approach feasibility to the clients and the builders who will be constructing and working on different projects. The project will provide feasibility to the following subjects, Clients, Material supplier, Contractors (All types), Construction companies. The client can keep up the track of the project by side picture. The application will be able to provide the client to watch the constructions site progress with the help of pictures of site and video sharing feature. E-agreement feature will provide mutual understanding between the parties that will secure the payment process between the client and different contractors. Project Objectives

The basic objective of this project is to connect contractors and vendors with construction agencies and connect labors to construction agencies and to fill the gap between contractors and market. To overcome the price difference clients can see their price of a construction site in one click. The idea is to combine the labor power with the help of contractors and keep everyone under one roof. It also combines the engineering force like electrical engineers, civil engineers etc. under one roof. Client can access construction site information in one click. It also overcomes lack of communication between user and contractors. Client can select a contractor and labor through reviews. Client can also track progress of the site. The aim of this project to foster and advance the interest of those who are engaged in or who are directly or indirectly connected with or affected by the erection, fabrication, construction, alteration, repair or improvement of every nature and kind of buildings, works, structures, erection and engineering projects of every nature kind, class or description and to promote suitable and desirable legislation affecting the industry in all its branches: to provide liaison with Government for any contemplated legislation by municipal, provincial or federal authorities, insofar as the same may affect the construction industry. The idea is to achieve a closer relationship and better understanding between the various branches of the industry and to improve and standardize as far as possible the methods of submitting and accepting tenders as between architect or engineer, general contractor, trade contractor, and owner, and as between general contractor and subcontractor and to gather accurate and reliable statistics of merchants and builders, and other matters calculated to be of use and assistance to members of the Association. The project brings a greater uniformity in the custom and usages of those engaged in the construction industry and the furnishings of material therefore and settle differences among its members and promote a closer co-operation between the members of the various trades.

Project Implementation Method

Here are some of the steps which explain the methodology we will be following for our project:

Phase-I

In this phase, we will calculate that how much domain we can cover with this application and we do categorize data and we can define patterns that how we can collect data from users. After data gathering, we can precise that data for our system.

Phase-II

After calculating the domain and collecting data from users, we plot the image of the project on paper by using different methodology. By using use case diagrams, we provide the representation of a user's interaction with the system that shows the relationship between the user and the different use cases in which the user is involved. We provide class diagrams that describe the types of objects in the system and the different kinds of relationships that exist among them. It allows analysis and design of the static view of a software application. Likewise, we used Activity diagrams to capture the dynamic behavior of the system. Similarly, a data Flow diagram provides the representation of a flow of data of a process or a system. The data Flow diagram also provides information about the outputs and inputs of each entity and the process itself. A data-flow diagram has no control flow, there are no decision rules and no loops.

Phase-III

After phase-II we will start constructing the phase of our project, for the front-end we will use UML diagrams for representing a system along with its main actors, roles, actions, artifacts or classes, in order to better understand, alter, maintain, or document information about the system. Then we can visualize the workflow of the system. We use OOSE techniques where the design is made to check what would be the best way of making a user-friendly UI. After all that we will visualize the data and select what database we are going to use.

Phase-IV

In this phase, we implement our idea by coding. We use our prototype to build the application by using different technologies and languages. Building a relational, hierarchical, structural, unstructured, and efficient database that will be integrated after checks and tests. Authentication will be implemented step by step during the implementation process.

Phase-V

We will start this phase simultaneously with the product development starting with the unit testing then moving towards integration testing and after the integration, when the module clears the integration test, system testing techniques will be implemented on the whole system. User acceptance testing will be conducted when the whole system will be on the stage of completion to make sure that it can handle the required tasks in real-world scenarios according to the specifications of the user.

Phase-VI

This phase is conducted after the completion of the product to maintain the product’s reliability by refactoring and apply

Benefits of the Project

Pakistan is a developing country and currently going through with the severe economic crises as there are fewer job opportunities from the lower class to the upper-middle class. It is very hard to find a skilled team of labors/contractor in Pakistan as there is no suitable platform which facilitates them. Local as well as overseas Pakistani wants to do investment in the construction business and just not only from the business perspective, they also want to build their personal house as there were many residential societies are launched in past 10 years which sales plot but the buyer suffer a lot to find the skilled team of labors/contractor by which they can build their own house. It's hard for a client/investor to find a skilled contractor because currently, we don't have any rating method of the contractor. Also, it's hard for a contractor to find a trusted client/investor because currently, we don't have any rating method for a client. Changing the minds of the owner is the big issue for contractors as there is no check and balance of the requirement which has done at the time of the deal. Not all contractors have the maintained record (Name, Phone No, NIC) of their workers. usually, they work and coordinate with each other only on the basis of verbal communication and if the contractor has the record (Name, Phone No, NIC) of labor so they normally maintained it in the hardcopy format, they don't have any softcopy, portal to store their information for the security purpose or to increase the assurance of their worker. There are several problems faced by the Construction industry. There is a lack of skilled workers, likewise, there are people having skills but not enough worth in the industry. The people working in or with the industry are facing communication gaps. Another problem in the industry is lack of trust and reliability. There are many cases in which the workers ditch the client or the client run out without paying the workers. Time management and scheduling is another problem in the industry by which many projects are delayed and take more time than estimated. Cost management plays an important role, most of the projects cross the declared budget and by that project goes to pending situations. Document sharing and management also take too much time. 

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Finding a skilled worker is a difficult task for any individual. However, if you find a skilled worker their cost and time to complete that particular work will not satisfy you. It is very hard to find a skilled team of labor/contractors as there is no suitable platform that facilitates them. 3. All the authentic and authorize data will be encrypted using modified cryptographic techniques
4. The chat room will provide an ease of communication between the client/owner and the contractor and the vendor as there is no longer any need to schedule meetings, prepare topics for discussion, and collect meeting minutes as all parties will be in a loop and there will be fewer misunderstandings as far as common.
