 Solar energy based water geyser is basically a system that uses the sun radiation in order to heat water .Throughout the time periods, the solar hot water system is being used by people domestically to their water in order to reduce dependency on the conventional water heater which  used  oil, natural gas as main energy source to heat the water. It is not a new technology, where they painted tanks with black paints in order to absorb sun energy.Here we will add the innovation of controlling it smartly which is becoming a trend in today's world order that there is any electonic appliance you see is becoming smart so we thought why not the geyser can be smart.In 2020, Government Of Pakistan Officials said that Pakistan would produce 60% of its required electricity from renewable sources by 2030 that means the future will be most probably the ‘Solar Technology’ and the equipments relate to it that became an inspiration on working on this project.

Project Objectives

 * The main objective of this project is to provide domestic users a cost effective system, smartly control able by Wi-Fi system and a   model that is efficient as solar panel has great outweigh than any other form of energy when it comes to heating water. Efficiency here means that the solar panel will convert almost up to 80% radiation without making use of any other external fuels.

* As there will be mostly Dc components installed making it a low-maintenance system.

Project Implementation Method

The project is designed in such a way that the input source that will be the main power source will come from natural energy that is solar energy which will work even there is low observable light as mono-crystalline panel will be deployed to cater the issue of working on full-fledge sunlight as we have to go through in poly-crystalline panels. The panel will power the immersion rod fixed in the prototype tank   in between converters and voltage controllers and a 'Smart Control Circuit' will be used to control the system by which we can smartly control the system scheduling, delaying using a smart phone.  

Benefits of the Project

* Electricity consumption is a major issue when we are installing a electric geyser by installing a Solar Geyser this problem can be resolved.

* It Works on a quite safer energy that is Solar as compare to “Alternating Current” Geyser’s which works mostly on around 220V that is dangerous.

* Emission of gasses is a issue when it comes to old school gas geyser’s when we talk about “Solar Energy Based Smart Water Geyser” there aren’t many gases involved  making it environment friendly.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The project is itself is a unique step towards innovation as there are solar geysers available in market but nobody has introduced a smart solar geyser as of yet which we can smartly control the system scheduling, delaying and scheduled power on/off using any of the smart phones.
