solar base drone system for surveillance
Nowadays world is progressing day by day with the help of robotics which help to do more work in less time quickly without a lot of effort in a competitive environment. Also the drone is perfect competitor for tasks that are dangerous for human. Drones have had numerous uses in the defense, military, and modern world events so considering this thing in mind battery powered drone has limited battery time which is a huge problem for any purpose drone. Patrolling along border line, fire control, airborne surveillance is difficult to manage in short time battery. All around require long flight time and strong power supply. Regardless, current drone plans utilizing standard battery or fuel cells mostly to fulfill such need but it’s not enough.
I am designing a “Solar Base Drone System for Surveillance”. In this system battery onboard is charged by solar panel. As long as sun light remain, the drone continues to fly in the sky and its Global Positioning System (GPS) help to land drone on a place where it starts to fly in case of low battery. That helps in patrolling along border line, quickly spreading fire control, airborne surveillance etc.
The following steps will be followed in the project implementation:
1. Assemble hexa frame then install motors on clockwise and in anti-clockwise.
2. Install ESC and make connection on board.
3. Connect power module then install flight controller(pixohawk) on plate.
4. Connect power module wires and connect ESC wire in main out.
5. Connect RC receiver with pixohawk for transmitter.
6. Connect S-sub, safety switch on pixohawk.
7. Make installation of cording according to the programing.
8. After that make radio collaboration and set all function on extreme position.
The propose project can play an important role in the upgrading of military and security system in Pakistan. Because of small size of drone, it can be easily used in military for surveillance, used for security purpose on border line and also, it provides long access of battery because of solar panel. Used in emergency cases, when fire is out of control it helps to view how we can control fire. Apart from military this drone can also be used for common task, we can use this drone in wedding for video recording because it is less expensive.
