At the end of 2019 virus came from china to the whole world & in 2020 a strong pandemic started affecting the world. By mid of 2020 almost every country had been affected & had lockdowns everywhere & still, there are lockdowns because of COVID 19. To stop the spread of this highly infectious virus disease, it is very important to ensure people wear masks in public & follow SOPs and social distancing norms.
To ensure masks compulsion & social distancing (SOPs), constant spying & monitoring is necessary & constant reminders to offenders. To ease this task for everyone we here design a drone that can patrol long distances easily & ensure social distancing, as well as masks, are worn in public places.
Project Objectives
- Our main goal is to provide better health monitoring support for potential risk groups including seniors as well as for gathering crowds at parks, shopping centers, railway stations, and other public areas.
- Our aim is to secure people's lives during this pandemic by achieving our task, By maintaining social distance and a mask-wearing system.
- In the future, we will try to implement some more gestures and features which will be helpful for everyone.
Project Implementation Method
Our specially designed drone will monitor the people & makes use of a controller-based circuit system coupled with 4x high RPM quadcopter motors for easy navigation & control. RC control to check long-range flying. An FP camera with a transmitter to transmit live footage. A loudspeaker & voice receiver to warn or scold offenders remotely via the drone as soon as they are spotted.
The drone can be used to remotely monitor & observe for COVID 19 restriction violations & issue warnings remotely through loudspeakers. This will help in easy monitoring or patrolling of large areas including long streets by the use of drones.

Benefits of our Project:
- Our drone will be beneficial for people to prevent them from Covid-19. Because it will restrict people through sensors and loudspeakers (remotely).
- The human eye can't restrict many people at a time while our drone will detect many people at a time through sensors.
- Our drone will patrol long distances including long streets through sensors.
- Our drone will easily give warnings to those people who don't follow SOPs.
Technical Details of Final Deliverable
The end result will be a quadcopter drone that will patrol long distances including streets and spy on people that they are wearing masks and keeping a social distance (i.e. following SOPs) or not. If they don't wear masks and not keeping social distance then our drone will show red light on those people through sensors and alert them through loudspeakers to follow SOPs.
