Project Area of Specialization RoboticsProject SummaryIn this 21st century we are surrounded by robots. Robotics play an important role in every aspect of life. The growth of robots is significantly increasing in many areas of the world. Like agriculture, automobile, construction, entertainment, healthcare, hospital, research, hazardous environment where human cannot work like nuclear reactor, outside earth’s atmosphere etcetera. Today many company and firms are working to make robots to play games. Out of many, soccer playing robots have attracted us a lot. There are so many national and international competitions are being organized every year on robots playing soccer.
We want to design the mobile robot soccer playing team which can be controlled through mobile application via wifi. In this project we will design the mobile football robot team (soccer robot) consisting of 4 robots per team. Each robot is controlled through mobile app via wi-fi. Robot will have Omni wheels to move any direction without turning its face. ESP32 module will be as our main controller. Mobile app will be developed to control individual robot. Chase of robot will be design and fabricated. Kicker will be made to kick the ball and dribbler will be made to hold the ball. Every component of this project is indigenously designed and made by us. We also thinking to place a camera to transmit the live video through Wi-Fi.
In this project multiple resources to be used like solid work software, 3d printer, laser cut, eagle software, Motor driver board to control motors, voltage regulator, programing, design of mobile app to control the robots using wifi. Project Objectives- Learn the use of different software’s like solid works, eagle, MIT app inventor and programing.
- 3D designing of Omni wheels, robot structure, kicker and dribbler
- Making robot structure and Omni wheel using laser cutter and 3D printer
- Implementation of solonide kicker and dribbler.
- Programming of Node MCU
- App development which can control the robots using Wifi. .
In this project we begin with literature review of basic robotics and learning of different software including eagle, solid works, MIT app inventor first using Bluetooth then Wi-Fi, PCB designing of circuits and 3D modeling of robot structure and integration of the components to make product.
