Smart Gharana is an automated home system. It features a home assistant in a single application that will help the user save time by simplifying daily tasks. The system will serve as an assistant to visually impaired people by integrating voice commands using natural language processing and a security system for doors (specifically garage door) with alarms using image processing techniques.
An Android app with Flutter front-end and Flask back-end with multiple modules.
The devices(appliances) will be connected with ESP32 and Arduino Relay. The ESP32 will also be connected to the android app.
The security module requires Camera and Raspberry Pi. The Garage Door will read the number plate of a car to check if it is a known vehicle and safe to enter. The Main Door camera will use face recognition to check if a known person is on the door so that it opens the door.
With each passing day our life is becoming extremely busy and challenging and time is an important factor. By using our system users will be able to perform their daily life tasks easily which will save their precious time which they can devote to their work making their life simpler and easier. The system will also assist visually impaired people as the home assistant is powered by voice commands. The system will offer a security system for doors (specifically garage door) through object detection.
