Smart Wheelchair Using IOT
The main reason behind this project is the continuous supervision required by a critical, bedridden patient. Such patients need their vitals to be measured all the time for which skilled professionals are required. To reduce this manual labour we are introducing this IOT Based Device. This Smart Wheelchair is provided with sensors that will give us continual readings of a patient's blood pressure, oxygen saturation, pulse rate and temperature. This device will also reduce the requirement of trained medical professionals i.e; nurses, paramedical staff, etc. This data is transmitted via 2G/3G network. When any of these vitals spikes, the device will give an alert to a guardian or directly to that patient's doctor. By implementing this device we will get accurate readings, human error minimization and cost reductions.
Smart wheelchair is the idea from which we can smartly monitor a intensive care patient’s vitals at any place at any time. Such patients require critical care which is compatible with the concept of smart medicine. The main objectives of our proposed device are as follows:

Patient’s records are integrated with mobile and web app.Continual information of the vitals shown in application, then sending it to the guardian or the doctor automatically by system
BPSensor
Blood Pressure Sensor is used to measure the blood pressure using the non-invasive method. It is similar to sphygmomanometer but instead of the mercury column, a pressure sensor is used to detect the blood pressure.
Infrared temprature sensor (IR)
Infrared (IR) temperature sensors emit an infrared energy beam focused by a lens onto a surface to detect the surface or object temperature. The reflected beam is received back in the sensor which converts the energy to an electrical signal that can be displayed in units of temperature.
Pulse oxidize sensor
The MAX30100 is an integrated pulse oximetry and heart-rate monitor sensor solution. It combines two LEDs, a photodetector, optimized optics, and low-noise analog signal processing to detect pulse oximetry and heart-rate signals.
The MAX30100 operates from 1.8V and 3.3V power supplies and can be powered down through software with negligible standby current, permitting the power supply to remain connected at all times
NodeMCU
NodeMCU is an open-source Lua based firmware and development board specially targeted for IoT based Applications. It includes firmware that runs on the ESP8266 Wi-Fi SoC from Espressif Systems, and hardware which is based on the ESP-12 module.
