The Smart Exercise Mirror is a revolutionary mirror for exercise. It's an interactive device, powered by a smart system. A smart mirror is a two-way mirror with an electronic display behind the glass. The display can show the viewer different kinds of information in the form of widgets, such as weather, time, date, calendar, Azan timings, and news updates, as it will be synchronized through the internet, this product would be useful for busy individuals that want to multitask.

In our smart virtual training mirror, users are able to follow the exercise postures of a virtual professional trainer shown in a first-person viewpoint and receive coaching through a Real-time motion correction.

Furthermore, there will be an application that will include a part for home automation, Which will control the lights bulbs, so that when the person will enter the room for an exercise, and start exercising through the mirror so the light will glow up and get off when he will leave the room, it will be done through image processing.

Project Objectives Project Implementation Method

SOFTWARE:

The detection will be done through Google Cloud which offers virtual machines with GPUs will prepare an image data set that will contain the object that we want to train and select the object from the image and will train the data set, Once our data set is ready, we put images in an extract file, now we switch on the Google collaborator Co-lab is a service by Google provides free excess to GPU and a python editor.

EXERCISES WE WILL TRAIN TO OUR MACHINE:

Further, we will also use camera calibration to get the intrinsic and extrinsic parameters in our camera which is required for the pose estimation of a person in the camera frame, we will have different kinds of positions of that person in multiple images like rotated, tilted, and translated.

The coronavirus pandemic has radically changed the lifestyle of the people. For example, following pandemic shutdowns, people have increasingly relied on delivery services. People have also changed how they commute to avoid being stuck close to others on a train or in a stranger’s car. And they’re looking for convenient ways to exercise outside of crowded gyms. Some people are unable to go to the gym physically due to their hectic schedules, and some cannot afford a personal trainer. Therefore, we introduce the concept of a Virtual Smart Exercise Mirror. This will offer a person the opportunity to work out from their home at any time of the day. Fitness mirrors are interactive devices that allow people to work out at home. Part mirror and part LCD screen, they provide interactive classes, workouts, and personal training sessions. They also work with other devices to display metrics, such as heart rate, during exercise. The mirror also has a face recognition feature, we can also get notified as it also has daily news updates, weather forecasts, to-do list. The Mirror is an interactive smart gym that gets to know you. The proprietary optimization algorithms deliver real-time feedback based on your goals and preferences for maximum results in minimal time. Smart mirrors are a part of smart display emerging technology that can be adopted in various fields such as gaming, photography, video, education, healthcare, and engineering simulation. These applications can drive market growth. The scope of incorporating virtual reality technologies in smart mirrors is sure to fuel further growth opportunities.
