Project Summary

As the dependency on technology is increasing, we are finding every 2nd daily used device that is chargeable. overcharging a device is a big challenge because a gadget can be damaged by overcharging. 
This project is about Smart Socket that can be turned on and off for a specific time limit and this could be done through buttons available on the socket (Physically) or through the integrated mobile app (wirelessly/Bluetooth). 
 
There are 4 different phases of this project

1. Development of the socket with Arduino and circuits.
2. Developing a mobile app to control the working of the socket through Bluetooth.
3. Developing an eCommerce platform for the product to promote through the web and on that website, we will sell the final product and the components used in this product.
4. Developing an integrated mobile app for eCommerce functionality. 

In short through this project, we are providing a complete business formula. We are covering all the aspects from development to promotion and marketing. 

Project Objectives

we are doing this project to achieve the following objectives.

• The primary objective is to make a device that turns on or off the power supply for a selected time limit to avoid the overcharging.
• The secondary objective is to promote this device through web and mobile app and to sell this product to the targeted customers.

Project Implementation Method

We will take these steps to implement our project 

• Make a socket that can be turned on or off for a selected time limit.
• The time duration can be controlled with the help of buttons available on the socket and from the mobile app that is connected with socket wirelessly (Bluetooth).
• Make a website through which we can sell our products and the components that are used in developing this project.
• Make a mobile Application to sell and promote our product.

• Cost-effective – you don’t have to buy 2 sockets one for manual control and other for wireless control, these both functions can be done with a single socket.
• A website through which you can promote and sell our product.
• A mobile application to sell this product online.
