Project Summary

Developing a QR code based smart attendance system.  Consist on four modules Student android app, faculty web app, super admin and admin/ management web based dashboard. Super admin has rights to register new institution and manage them. Admin/ management has limited authority to its own single institute can Create classes register/ add students, assign teachers to specific classes and set time for attendance with expiry warning. Faculty have a feature to create QR codes with specific limited session for attendance of a specific class, view attendance sheet and can take print out as well as attendance show along with the QR code front of students. The student can mark attendance by scanning the QR code with android device. Moreover, if any student does not have android device, then faculty can mark his attendance. One android device has one login allow it’s bound with IMEI number, if student change his device he asks to admin/ management to allow login in that device. The student can see its own attendance history of all classes, faculty can see attendance history of its classes while admin/ management has an authority to see attendance history of the whole institute, super admin have access to view any institution internal records and history. As well as record lecture using wired webcam.

Project Objectives

Our aim to automate the Attendance system. This system helps educational institutes and faculties to take attendance in a speedy and smart way without wasting time calling the name of everyone student accordingly which was quite difficult in 100 to 300 student’s class. As well as it is a unique system which help to maintain attendance records in a digital way, management, faculty and students can see their attendance history easily within own limitation. As well as help students to get leatures recording of pyhsical class.
