Project Area of Specialization Wearables and ImplantableProject SummaryThe smart chair is based on raspberry pi,which controls the full operations of a chair.
Smart chair provides a facilty to know the present condition of a person i.e the pulse rate detection using handgrip sensors.
As a result of detection of pulse rate low or high the raspberry pi automatically on the massagers ,so as to give relaxation to employ or a person using smart chair.
We are also using a pressure sensors,by exerting pressure on it massager will also on.
A pi_camera is installed that is used to detect the phycisal condition of a person through facial expression and the raspberry pi display a message on lCD.
In case of sitting 4hours and onwards a person/employ getting tired and not give attention to his/her work, efficiency of a person is reduced simultaneously.
These affects are reduced by using smart chair.
Smart chair gives a massage to a person sitting on the chair as a result of feeling guilty or tireness.
Our project has following objectives.
1)pulse rate detection using handgrip sensors
2)facial expression detection usin pi camera.
3)massagers to give relaxation
4)present condition message on lCD.
5)pressure sensors for directly on massagers
Project is implementing in hard.
Algorthims of facial expression are saved in raspberry pi internal memory,
Handgrip sensors are calebrated so as to work in efficient method.
At the input of of raspberry pi sensors(hand grip sensors) are interfaced,which are calebrated to give a pulse rating as an input.
Output of raspberry pi is interfaced with lcd displayer, by using python langauge code a message will be shown on LCD.
Pressure sensors are connected,by giving pressure on the chair with backbone signal will be forwarded to a raspberry pi, which will do further operation of getting on massagers by a programmed saved in memory of system.
Smart chair facilitate a user to work in more effiecent manner.
Smart chair also provides a facility of working continousily without any need of rest.
It also provide the stress detection of user.
Smart chair provide a better environment for employs, officers etc.
