The big advantage of a smart mirror is the ability to display useful information without needing to open apps or do anything. You simply look at your smart mirror and the information is there. For example, imagine the mirror in your bathroom is a smart mirror. Every morning you probably wake up and stand in front of that mirror as you brush your teeth or prepare for the day. Imagine while you go through your morning routine you can look at your mirror and see a traffic report, weather forecast for the day, and your day’s schedule. As we being living in an era of technology and as day by day everything is been optimized with technology and these technological inventions are being so mesmerizing that everyone wants to have it and want more from that so smart mirror is also being one of the finest technological invention that have been done as the main problem that aroused was that how to sum up all the parts and to make it a flawless mirror and get it worked like flawlessly. So, it can be worked as both type as a type of mirror and on the same time as a looking mirror.
Project Objectives- The aim of the smart mirror is to provide an easy way to information service such as news feeds, weather, clock etc. It also provides some basic AI features like real time interaction with users.

- To assemble the required hardware for the project
- To configure through coding on Raspberry Pi
- To evaluate the performance of the smart mirror system
- To analyze based on the obtained results
The methodology is very simple a microprocessor called raspberry pi is required, to which the LCD is Over this LCD a one-way mirror is attached which acts as a reflective surface. So this completes our basic setup. Further, a voice recognition module is attached to make mirror a voice-controlled one.
- Turn on the supply of both raspberry and LED Monitor
- Turn any Hotspot and connect it with raspberry Pi]
- Now to Monitor the raspberry pi connect your device to raspberry through VNC Viewer it requires an IP address so we have to enter the correct IP address of raspberry pi so it will be get connected
The smart mirror idea aimed to integrate technology seamlessly into people’s lives by putting it where everyone’s routine eventually collides, the bathroom. The goal of the smart mirror is to increase a user’s productivity by saving them time. The smart mirror provides a near effortless experience that allows the user to just walk up and be greeted with information
Technical Details of Final DeliverableThe design and the development of an interactive multimedia futuristic Smart Mirror with artificial intelligence for the ambient home environment as well as for commercial uses in various industries. The project which would collect real world machine data and the data would be transmitted from the machine and would be managed by the Raspberry Pi. The Smart Mirror implemented as a personalized digital device equipped with peripherals such as Raspberry PI, microphone, speakers, LED Monitor covered with a sheet of reflective one-way mirror provides one of the most basic common amenities such as weather of the city, latest updates of news and headlines and local time corresponding to the location.
