Our Project Smart Irrigation & Crop protection system is IoT based project.Different sensors are used to collect data ,which will be used for irrigation and crop protection purpose.On the basis of this data ,desicion will me made to irrigate the field automatically by Microcontroller.PIR is sensor used to detect movement of any animal which k destroy the crop and Ph sensor measure the water quality.GSM module is used to alert the user about any update directly to phone number and a user can turn On/Off water pump manually by sending a SMS remotely.

Project Objectives Project Implementation Method

This project can be implemented in home gardens,lawns to large scale farms.Multiple nodes wil be placed in field (number of nodes depends on Area).every node contain sensors which collect data and send to a Master node.When there will be need of water,Master Node will turn on the Water Pump and will update the user about the water pump status.

Benefits of the Project

An automatic irrigation system will save you plenty of time that you in the past would have spent watering your lawns, gardens and flowers.

With an automatic irrigation system there is no money or water wasted, for everything is timed, programmed.

Whatever type of irrigation system you install, there will definitely be a greater saving on water. You can help conserve water with automatic systems, for there is no wasting of water, every drop is used not wasted away.

When plants, crops, lawns or flowers are watered with smaller amounts of water over a longer period of time, they grow faster, for it is the ideal condition for growth,and crops are protected by animals as well.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Final product will be a Node consist of ESP-32 microcontroller which will be interfaced with Dht22 temperature sensor,PIR sensor,Soil Moisture sensor and Ph sensor.And a Master node consist of ESP-32 with GSM module and relay connected to water pump.
