The system is being developed as a solution to an existing critical problem of timely shifting patients with aggravated pulmonary and cardiac conditions to the nearest health facility which is able to treat their condition in timely and satisfactory manner. This will assist greatly in the ongoing aggrevated situation which is due to the COVID-19.

It is common knowledge that the patients who have had critical pulmonary and cardiac issues in the past are susceptible to have the same issues or even more aggravated issues again and need urgent health care. They are also highly prone to develop severe conditions if they get infected with COVID-19.The system in our society which takes care of such issues is quiet lacking in technology, resources and professionalism.

Our system is supposed to be embedded in midst of all this and provide proficiency, efficiency and solution to this issue.

Project Objectives

Our objective to create a complete solution to cater for the above mentioned problem. For this we are creating the following components in the system.

1. A wearable hardware for the patients which will monitor pulse, oxygen levels, temperature and breathing mass flow.

2. Web application at the hospital's end.

3. Android application for ambulane service.

4. Android application for patient.

5. Live database.

Project Implementation Method

Implementation of our project will be according to the diagram shown below.

Benefits of the Project

The system when implemented will be a source of life saving benifits for patients having severe COVID-19, cardiovascular issues or pulmonary issues, as the distribution of vital information of the patient to related stakeholders will not only allow effecient notification and urge to act promptly but also in abrupt transportation and immediate medical assistance.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

For creating our hardware we will use the following:

1. ESP 32 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module.

2. MPX 5010 pressure sensor.

3. MAX 30100/30102 pulse oxymeter sensor.

4. DS 18B2 temperature sensor.

5. The above will be programmed in Arduino Module.

6. Database used will be live database such as FireBase.

7. The android applications will be developed in Android Studio.

8. Front end of web application with be created and designed using HTML 5 and CSS 3 respectively.

9. Back end of the application will be written in C# or Javascript using node.js runtime.
