Project Summary

Consulting a doctor is a quite obvious thing in our day to day life, but the availability of the doctor during the time of our requirement is unpredictable

Under the manual Health Consultation System, you have to first wait in line to take appointments with the doctors and wait for your time to have to meet with them and discuss your health problems. As you have to provide your information and other reports many times at different places which is again a burden of carrying documents. You have to be present physically at the doctor’s cabin. Patients have to visit on another day or after some hours to take their health reports which involve extra care person with patients anytime.

There is another scenario in which covid cases are at a peak most of the hospitals have closed their opds. It might have happened so many times that you or someone yours need a doctor to help immediately, but they are not available due to some reason so it is difficult for the patients to seek medical help immediately.

The proposed project is a smart health consulting app that allows users to get instant guidance on their health issues through an intelligent health care application.

This system aims at maintaining patient health records and even getting appointments from various doctors for related treatments. 

The doctor can chat with the patients directly to keep track and be up to date about their health status.

Project Objectives

The main objective is to build a system:

• Through which patients needing doctor help at their home can consult doctors, send their reports, chat with doctors, and discuss their issues and the related remedies.
• That provides direct access to the specialists of your own choice
• That is cost-effective and time-saving
• That ensures the safety of the patients (w.r.t COVID-19)

Project Implementation Method

We are using flutter for app development as it is platform-independent (for both ios and android ) and the framework offers a set of distinctive and eye-pleasing widgets. For the payment module, we are using JazzCash Rest APIs so that patients can send payments to doctors before getting a consultation. Once the doctor receives payment then he can give consultation to patient

The proposed system will be a Smart health consulting application that will run on both android and ios, and that connects the patients to the available doctors for consultation.
