Smart Farm Sampling and Mapping System
We propose a smart farm sampling system that can be used to collect the survey information of farm fields regarding soil and water properties, that can be further used in future for planning and research and to improve the productivity of agricultural lands and to improve the farming practices that are affecting the soil and groundwater in the region. Proposed system will offer efficient data record management, mapping and reporting capabilities with mobile and web based applications. There will be agriculture-based applications helping farmers to estimate the fertilizer quantity required for a specific land area and for a specific crop.
The main objectives of our project are:
Digital Mapping of farm fields.
To store and manage soil and water properties related to farm fields.
Fertilizer estimation for agriculture land
Data will be gathered from the fields and farmers
Database wil be designed to collect the survey information and sampling data that can be further analyzed for the pattern identification so that future planning.
Web interface will be designed using PHP
Mobile application interface will be designd using Android studio
Volunteer will get soil and water sample
After development testing will be performed
Deployment will be done after finalization

Proposed system will offer efficient data record management and reporting capabilities using web and mobile applications. Firstly digital mapping of farm fields using polygons on either web or mobile app will be performed. Soil sampling and water sampling data of particular fields will be recorded. Based on record stored, stakeholders/farmers could also be able to estimate the quantity of fertilizers required for a particular field.
