Project Area of Specialization Electrical/Electronic EngineeringProject SummaryThe main purpose of residential energy consumption management system is to ensure the proper use of electricity and to optimize the cost of electricity bills by monitoring with intelligent management system, the smart monitoring system use the Method: Residential energy monitoring system use by measuring voltages and current (load), Frequency and calculate instantaneous power, total load, power factor, and consumption of billing as per residential load. Smart monitoring system will update all its electricity consumption billing and necessary information on your smart phone app based on both operating system android /IOS and also web server. It will update all data in each 20 seconds. Finding: The residential energy consumption measurement system is capable of residential house load of 4.4KW. Application: by using the residential energy measurement system user will be aware of consumption of energy that will lead proper utilization of energy.

The first step of this project was Measures the Electric Quantities (Voltage, Current, Power etc.)
The second part of the project consisted of monitoring and control the data. The first phase was the collection of data from sensors. Then, communicate this data with the consumer.
After that, make sure that there is both way communication between the Supplier and consumer.
The last part merged the work done (monitoring and control) with the application development.
