Project Summary

The main task of this project is to enhance the motor bike with mechanical and electrical components, so that it is more economical and convenient. Its reduce the pollution and Eco friendly vehicle. E-bikes use rechargeable batteries and the single time charge battery can travel up to 60 to 70 km and top speed is to 50 to 60 km/h. GPS traking system to track the bike and find out the exact loction.

Motor Current: 1.2-1.4 A

Motor Power: 2 HP

Battery Power: 48v 24 Ah

Top Speed (Plain Road): 60 Km/hr

Top Speed (Inclined Road): 35-40 Km/hr

Full Charge: 5 hrs

Distance in one Charge: 70 Km

Unit Consumed + 20% Tolerance: 2 Units

Cost to Full Charge: PKR 16/-

Starter: Self Starter

Project Objectives

An electric bike, also known as an E-Bike or booster bike with an integrated electric hub motor which can be used for propulsion. It reduced the human effort along with increase the efficiency. It reduced the uses of motor Bike which reduce the pollution and it is Eco friendly vehicle. E-bikes use rechargeable batteries and the single time charge battery can travel up to 60 to 70 km and top speed is to 50 to 60 km/h.

When we decide the break so motor is disconnect to the battery.

Smart meter to show the speed , distance , voltages and  ampere  of the battery and attached the head light  and GPS traking system

Project Implementation Method

• Firstly the Hub motor was fit on to the rim using spokes.
• The fabrication was carried out keeping in mind the  
   maximum load the motor will be able to withstand.
• Various fabrication processes were carried out.
• Edge grinding to provide smoother surface finishing.
• All the fabricated parts were assembled.
• Controller connects the main electrical components: the
throttle and electric brake assembly and also the Hub   motor. The throttle sends signal to the controller and based on these signals the controller sends output to the hub motor.

Benefits of the Project

Pakistan's oil import bill rose nearly 30.43 per cent year-on-year to $12.928 billion in July-May 2017-18 owing to an increase in global prices of crude oil and rising demand of petroleum products in the country. Pakistan has a total refining capacity to process around 400,000 barrels per day or about19million tones/year of crude oil. (E bike to save revenue of Pakistan)
