Lack of water is also observed in many places in the Pakistan and other countries as well just because of lack of rain fall. Humid areas like Karachi , Gwadar facing lack of clean and cheap drinking water. Quetta enlisted among those cities which would suffer water scarcity until 2030. According to the survey only 20% of population has to drink clean water and rest of the 80% are unable to have safe and cheap water. Water can be obtained by condensing the vapor present in humid air. The SAWG (Smart atmospheric water Generator for drinking and irrigation purpose) consist of heat sink ,Fan , Peltier element , water circulatory system and power supply any smarty circuitry for making it smartly automated. The measure of build-up of water relies upon the temperature of air and dampness the hot air on the hot side of the TEC is exhaust by the amazing heat sink and fan the water will added in the gathering tank. The areas where power shortage is high me can easily use this system with the assistance of Solar panel.
Project ObjectivesLack of fresh drinking water and energy is a combination that fails to fulfill the demand of drinking water of the people of Pakistan who stays at the coastal and mountain side. This leads to the idea of fulfilling their demand of water in a cost effective way. Water in one of the precious resource for living on earth. Everyone needs water for their daily requirements. Drinking water is blessing for everyone. These are the objectives of our project. • To make the device thermodynamically efficient. • To make the device smart using micro controller (i.e. Arduino). • To implement solar panel and battery. • Water treatment to make it drinkable.
Project Implementation MethodWater can be extracted from humidity the device for this purpose is Atmospheric water generator (AWG). The methodology of this project is explained below in detail. We have done various of experiments for extracting water, different methods were followed to achieve maximum water quantity
Water can be generated cheaply. Generated water can be used for drinking and irrigation purposes. Through this project we can provide drinkable water to the people ofremote areas of balochistan and Pakistan.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableFinal deliverable should be the hardware device which consist o water circulatory system with peltier device encapsulated in a smartly design enfrastructure. It works on the solar system and generate the water.
