our project title is small scale industrial automation.As according to title we select this projecct in order to automate industrial installed oprational devices i.e motor,direction of motor, speed of motor and many other installed devices.Now a days different industrial environment prefers the automation of the system.In our project we control the speed of DC motor with temperature variation as temperature changes the speed of DC motor can also varies.By using relay switch atomatic switch control we can also control heavy loads i.e inductive loads of industries.For acquiring real time value of temperature we use dht11 sensor which read temperature and humidity of environment and we define set point of temperature in code section using condition that if temperature is greater or equal to some specific value the motor is either start or stop and due to increase in temprature the speed reduce and stop at high temperature.We also use a smoke sensor whenever a smoke is detected it set the alram on due to which the employers are aware that somthing is happend in machinery or their is a risk of fire cacthment.We can add more sensors of industrial application to promote our project to high level industry automation i.e we can use flow sensor in order to determine effective flow of fluids towards the plant.This is a brief introduction to our final year project
objectives of this project is to aware of somethings happens in industrial environment before any damage to industries asset.i.e If smoke is detected and alram is turn on the oprator immediately aware and a risk of fire cachment can be avoided.Many industrial environment prefers automation for which SCADA system is commonly preferd which is more expensive for this our project is about to provide alternative of SCADA and we can perform same application with our project.
step to implement the prototype of the project first we interface DHT11 sensor (temperature & humidity sensor) with ESP8266 Node mcu(microcontroller unit),then after acquiring real time value of environmental temperature we define some conditions in code section due to which the speed of dc motor varies with temperature variation either speed can be increase or decrease direction of motor can also be controlled.After that we interface smoke detector sensor with ESP8266 Node mcu(microcontroller unit) which shows us the real time situation on webpage of our control room pc(personal computer) and we can also perform control function through pc.
Benifits of the project is to installed our prototype in small scale industries whose production is less and cannot afford SCADA PLC control system .our project can perform same application like other control function of the industrial environment.By adding more sensors in our project we can improve our project commercial value.Till now we use smoke detector sensor,temperture and humidity sensors.
To modifiy our prototype we can avail tecchnical commercial value of our project.our project is based on IOT(internet of things) emerging technology and making some ammendment in our project we can change our project specification.it have many technical purposes.
