In this going era of AI and IoT driven society, the safety of the industrial workers have become safer than ever due to this technological evolution of advance computational systems, yet there still lies a vague gap between the fine lines which have been neglected despite the great software industrial break through under privileged working class society are facing partial/permanent eye impairment. Due to the nature of their work and unsuitable safety gear which causes limitations to their work if they use it and inextensible damage if they don’t resulting in damaging their eyes. According to the research investigation, the factors that caused the workers to not wear the safety gear were 

·High cost of safety gadgets.

·Irritation caused by the safety gear during working.

·Human Error i.e., forgetting to wear the gadgets again after a break.

Our proposed system which is an Arduino based embedded system will counter all three problems and will deliver a cost effective safety gear package that will ensure the safety of the under privileged working individuals by providing a software solution to their problem

Project Objectives

•To develop a system with Intelligent sound recognition

•To develop a system that has Quick response time .

•To configure the system with such equipment that ensure all time security and cost effectiveness at the same time.

Project Implementation Method

Modules of Proposed System:

Flipping Down through Sensor

We will have a sound sensors mounted on a micro controller which will sense the audible frequency generated by the mechanical equipment and its range. The data gathered will be sent to the micro controller to calculate and compare with the predefined audible frequency range initialize to activate the actuator which therefore, is the security feature of our proposed system.

Flipping Up through Sensor

Upon completion of the mechanical task as soon as the tool is turned off by the worker the sound sensor will sense the switch in the audible frequency and upon this input the micro controller will make the actuator to activate and eventually the goggles will flip up.

Benefits of the Project

By eliminating the causes of eye injury in workers and making the gear really cost effective , we are positive that we will be able to minimize the number of people who get affected annually and will be providing the ultimate software solution to this problem that has been neglected and overlooked in this going era of technological evolution.

This wearable system will change the way wokers relay on the safety gear and the community who will most benefit from it is the underprividge worker and labour force.

This project is serving a purpose , a purpose to really make an impact and difference in the society by making it a bit more safer for the individuals who work night and day to ultimately benifit the countries economic framework . 

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Our system named as “Sight Guardian” will be based on combining sensors and actuators both linked with the micro controller which is also referred as an embedded system. The system will be programmed with firmware which will be specifically designed according to the requirements and needs of the security features which are compulsion for the worker in the working environment.
