This project aims at developing a shock absorber system for UGV to make it operative on un-even surfaces for picking of mines and IEDs.  With the addition of shock absorber on this vehicle, it will be able to operate on un-even surfaces thus helping law enforcement agencies of the country.

Project Objectives

The project objects include designing of a shock obsorber system for UGV. The project delieverables include:

  1. Design of the shock obsorber system
  2. Design of the chasis system for installation of shock obsorber
  3. Structural analysis of the chasis system
  4. One point impact load testing on shock absorber
  5. Market survey and selection of suitable Shock Absorber
  6. Acquiring of suitable Shock Absorber
  7. Installation of Shock Absorber on Micromodel.
  8. Testing
Project Implementation Method

This project is based on an adversary model,in which MAV is modified with a shock absorber system in order to use this MAV in uneven surfaces and in a battlefield.

1.Simple design of small UGV Chassis.

3.Structural Analysis of Chassis using Ansys.

4.Simulation of Shock Absorber System in artificial environment using MATLAB
