The Selfie Drone, as the name suggests, is a device used to take selfies. Our version automates the need for manual flight of the drone, automating the posing process using image processing. A sample picture is fed to the drone and it positions itself to mimic the pose given in the picture.

The Selfie Drone, as the name suggests, is a device used to take selfies. Our version automates the need for manual flight of the drone, automating the posing process using image processing. A sample picture is fed to the drone and it positions itself to mimic the pose given in the picture.
To use OpenPose to make a machine learning algorithm to identify poses in real time and recreate them.
A machine learning algorithm will be used to train a model to recognize poses with more than 90% accuracy regardless of the angle. First phase will be simulating the drone using AirSim. After testing, the algorithm will be implemented on the actual drone.
This project will simplify the drone selfie process and will mostly be used by tour guides and tourists to recreate photographs according to sample poses.
PixHawk Flight controller will be used. For the actual drone flight, a microprocessor like the NVIDIA Jetson will be used.
