RFID Based Smart Library Management and Tracking System
The current library systems are employed with barcode technology. Every book in the library is provided with a barcode. The uniqueness of the barcode varies with the Direction of the lines. All the major functions of the library such as issuing, reissuing and returning of books needs to be monitored and controlled manually. Barcode readers require a direct line of sight, using laser technology. Scan and read one tag at a time and also time consuming. it does not have read/write memory. Online reservation books system is not available yet. It is difficult to manage a manual data for librarian. Manual management system may lead to errors in updating or deletions in the library database because from borrowing a book to returning, administrator has to update the library database every time. This may increase the risks of more erroneous database entries and updates. Anti theft system is not available.
The proposed RFID Based Library Management System (LMS) Facilities the fast issuing ,reissuing and returning of books with the help of RFID enable module. It directly provide the books information and library member information to the library managements system. It will provide security to the books.

Benefits
Applications
RFID Transponder or Tagging:. It has the ability to store information relating to the specific item to which they are attached, rewrite again without any requirement for contact or line of sight. Data within a tag may provide identification for an item, proof of ownership, original storage location, loan status and history.
Anti Theft Detection: It has the ability to scan the Books tag within range up to 2m when exiting the library with the system develop to check the book is issued or not .This will prevent library books to be stolen without issuing.
