Our project aims to provide a robotic vehicle equipped with the wireless camera having night vision capability for remote monitoring/ spying purposes. The night vision camera allows for transmitting real time night vision video even in dark environments. Whatever is recorded by the camera can be viewed in PC for reference this system is to be useful in war , terrorism and sensitive areas . It can also be used to operate in jungles and other environments humans cannot possibly enter during the night.

In this project we are using Raspberry Pi which will be connected to the the wireless night vision camera which will allow us the live streaming on the PC and for the movement we will use the tank chassis for harshy areas such as mountains and muddy areas. The system makes use of RF remote which has push buttons for forward,backward,left and right through which the users can send commands. The commands specifies in which direction the robotic vehicle should be moved. The moment of this robotic vehicle can be monitored by the user from the PC.

First of all we studied about the project from different research papers, after a lot of study and research we understood the basics of robot and the main difficulty was how to balance the robotic movement in uneven surface.
The project the is divided into two parts the transmitter and the receiver. It consists of RF remote, RF transmitter, RF receiver, the antenna and the motor driver IC L293D. Two DC motors and the night vision camera which will be mounted on the robotic vehicle the commands are given by using RF remote which is transmitted by RF transmitter through antenna to robotic vehicle at receiver side. The RF receiver receives that commands according to that commands the Raspberry Pi will generate the output which is not sufficient to drive the motor so for that motor drivers L293D is used to boost output of the Raspberry Pi to drive the DC motor. According to that command motor will rotate and the camera will monitor the surrounding area.
