Remotely Controlled Robot using Wi-Fi with Autonomous Navigation
• As the future is moving towards autonomy. So we aim to design an autonomous driverless car.
• To reduce human effort, we are going to design an autonomous driverless car using navigation system.
• We can also control this robot remotely by connecting it with Wi-Fi.
• It can navigate from start position to its final position by creating a trajectory and avoiding the obstacles.
The robot can navigate from starting position to its final position using the internet.
It will also detect the hurdles in its path and will avoid them as well.
The robot will move automatically by giving itself a path using navigation system.
There will be no need of driver or any operator to drive this robot (autonomous mode).
It can also be controlled by laptop/mobile phone using Wi-Fi (controlled mode).
It can be controlled from a considerable distance.

In future, idea/technique of our project can be used to make a driverless car in real time. There will be no need of driver to drive it.
People who cannot drive e.g (elderly, unlicensed individuals and people with driving- restrictive medical conditions) will be able to travel in it.
It can also be used for delivery purposes e.g. (food ,medicines etc).
It can also be used for surveillance purposes in radiation affected areas.
Emission of CO2 from vehicles causes pollution in the environment. Autonomous robotic car will restrict CO2 emission and will be more efficient due to the use of battery.
1.Development of PC application to provide input commands, initial and final GPS locations to the robotic car.
2.Development of communication channel b/w PC-application and raspberry pi using ESP8266 module.
3.Interfacing of GPS, magnetometer (HMC58832), camera, optical flow sensor with raspberry pi to estimate the position, velocity, direction and distance from hurdles of the robotic car.
4.Trajectory generation using interposition method (3rd order) b/w start and goal point.
5.Development of PID controller to follow the desired trajectory.
