The most of the Industry and buildings working needs to monitor and controlled the environment of the building as per needed. A desire which is need to be easy for the user to interface and operate with indication this project helps to improve the real time Monitoring and operation decision according to the user requirement. Furthermore, energy consumption is a major concern. from litrature review, in residential scenarios, HVAC accounts for 26.1% of the total energy consumption, whereas in commercial applications, HVAC accounts for 53.4% Despite consuming huge amount of energy HVAC systems often cannot achieve the desired ambient environment for all occupants all the time. A major reason for this is how the HVAC system is operated and control. This main focus of this project is on Internet of Things IOT and also Master and slave communication which will helps to control and monitor the HVAC System and also makes energy efficient by reducing the Energy consumption in by the HVAC system and also increases the range for the user to control from anywhere which gives and reduces the Multiple PLC’s With Single PLC As a Master PLC the Project is based on Hardware Technologies and Software technologies. A desire which is need to be easy for the user to interface and operate with indication this project helps to improve the real time Monitoring and operation decision according to the user requirement.
Project Objectives- To review main problems related to HVAC System. To design master slave HVAC system based PLC To connect and test different sensing element with HVAC system. To operate and monitor HVAC system based Master slave with IOT. This project Monitored through IOT which can be Monitored through Online and can be excess different parameters.
- In order to solve such problems, this project suggests that it able to constitute an automatic control system through current air-conditioners, fans, ventilators, and heating devices without having to purchase a new HVAC system. Also, this project suggests and IOT based intelligent air conditioning system that will enable communication between smartphones and sensor boxes that will then provide user customized environmental services.
- In this Project we are Implementing the methods of Serial communication for Master and Slave Communication between the PLC and Arduino interfaceed with internet of Things (IOT) for online Controlling and monitoring of HVAC system.
- The transceiver connects with PLC and For Receiving and sending the Data to PLC and also the PLC is connected to Modbus RS485 for serial Communication between PLC and microcontroller Such As Arduino
- User gives the commands from online through transceiver module which gives data to PLC and its forward the information to Modbus RS485 for serial communication
- The Modbus send information and decoded the information to arduino
- Commands taken as input provided by the Sensors which sends information to the Arudino and Arduino will Send the information through serially by using Modbus and gives Information to PLC which also Gives information to online for online Accessibility.
- This project gives the benefits to the user to control and monitor the HVAC system without the need at the Site area it’s also gives online accessibility which gives benefits to the user or operator .
- In this project the parameter of existing HVAC system is controlled and monitored through anywhere with the help of WIFI communication its also energy efficient due to online communication and also use of Single PLC as master and micro controller such as Arduino at slave which can be monitor and control multiple locations .
The final deliverable of our project will be two rooms consisting of sensors for measuring the environment and monitoring of the room and also each room has air flower fan for circulating the air and peltier for heating and cooling mechanism and have a suitable power supply unit .Our project has Transceiver Module for online communication such as NodeMcu and also uses Modbus Communication for the serial communication between PLC and microcontroller such as Arduino for Master and Slave communication.
